as i look @ the confluence of spirituality & intellect i wonder: "how can they be seen as anything other than 2 perspectives of 1 truth (no matter how elusive that truth)?" i suppose i will continue to wonder, for it seems manifestly obvious what spirituality and intellect are— faculties of the brain (whose differences are largely artificial) which seek to explain opposing spheres of human knowledge. spirituality deals with the un- or vaguely known, whereas intellect concerns the indisputably or well known.
there is no mind/body problem. for details, see chomsky's defense for this truth.
i hate 1st posts (dont you?), for they possess all the inspiration & charm of a course syllabus. this is not meant as an introduction so much as clarification of my awareness in regard to the blog itself. i sense that only personal anxiety deems such a statement necessary, but, anyway, ive already spoken. post!
